Henness House is a spacious, inviting, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home of approximately 2,600 square feet including a recreation level filled with games and electronic entertainment. All elements of the house are designed to accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably.
With immediate access to Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, Tunnel View, Badger Pass, and the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, Henness House is both a launching point for Yosemite's timeless attractions and a private retreat from the hustle and bustle of a day in the popular park.
Cozy corners and comfortable seating fill the living areas, with relaxing nooks to enjoy a hot (or cold!) beverage, conversation with friends, or views of the national park's forests and mountains.
A well stocked kitchen serves a generous dining table with breathtaking views of the Yosemite mountains, enjoyed from luxurious leather dining chairs or available bench, boosters, and high chair for children if needed. The kitchen is supplied with a full set of high-end cookware, blender, conical burr coffee grinder, coffee maker, and more to ensure you have everything you need for the meals and treats you have planned. A barbecue is available for grilling just outside.
Two bedrooms feature California King beds while the third offers three twins and one queen in a bunk configuration. All beds are finished with exceptionally comfortable Tuft & Needle mattresses and Coop pillows with the goal of providing an even better night of sleep than you get at home. Guests often ask where to order these for themselves! For larger groups, an equally comfortable queen sleeper sofa is ready in the downstairs den and two Pack-and-Play cribs with mattresses are available for families.
The bathrooms are designed with all guests in mind, offering shower/tubs with seating benches and hooks for the whole group's towels. Hot water is nearly instantaneous!
Downstairs you can enjoy wall games, board games, foosball, and a 65-inch OLED smart TV that includes streaming subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+, as well as a Nintendo Switch console with family-friendly party games such as Nintendo Sports and Mario Kart.
High-speed WiFi from Starlink provides reliable connectivity and performance, and a desk is available in the den should you need to put a few hours of work in.
Outdoors is a spacious terrace with sunset views to pair with an evening cocktail or glass of wine.
